Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ to God’s people in Menomonie, WI!
Shortly after my college graduation five years ago, my bride, Alissa, and I started to make our first home together in Eau Claire, WI. She was finishing up her Special Education degree, and I was working for a year before attending Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Almost five years later, Jesus has called me through the Assignment Committee to work with you in the ministry God has prepared for us in Menomonie!
God has given Alissa and me two boys: Amos, who will be 3 years old in July and Isaiah, who will be a year old in the same month. During our seminary years, our family made our way around the country getting experience for the service God would have me doing in Menomonie. We loaded up our Toyota and our one –year- old a couple of summers ago and drove to Farmington, New Mexico for a summer of multi-cultural ministry. Then we stopped by our parents’ houses in Wisconsin for a week and packed up all of our things and went to Mt Pleasant, Michigan for one of the most incredible years of our lives. I grew in God’s service under the mentorship of a pastor with 30-plus years of experience and worked with young and old alike including the campus ministry for Central Michigan University.
Alissa grew up in Hortonville, WI, and I, Aaron, grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin. She attended Fox Valley Lutheran in Appleton for high school. I attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran in Jackson. We met in high school at Camp Phillip in Wautoma doing some volunteer work with Jesus Cares Ministries.
As God now begins to cross our path with yours, we thank him for the part each one of you plays in the body of Christ. We cannot wait to meet with you and share our lives with you. Please pray for his blessing on this transition and for the partnership we are about to begin in Menomonie, WI!
Your servant in Christ,
Pastor Aaron Michael Schulz

Examination for our 8th grade Confirmation students is Sunday, April 24 from 9:15 – 10:15am in the Sanctuary. The students will sit before the congregation answering various questions about God’s Word. Using Bible passages and concepts, these students demonstrate their faith in Jesus for their own and the congregation’s benefit. Examination is an event when the student confesses their faith before God and the congregation.
Confirmation Service is at 10:30am on Sunday, May 1st. These students will make the most important vow of their life. They promise to be faithful to Jesus, even until death, so that they may receive the crown of life (Revelation 2:10). During this Rite of Confirmation, the students wear white gowns (symbolic of Christ’s holiness placed on them at baptism) and receive a red stole around their neck, which yokes them to Christ.
St. Paul’s Lutheran was founded in 1871 and has been reaching out to the residents of Dunn County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ ever since. While we’ve grown a bit in the past 140 years, we still hold fast to God’s Word.

Here’s some answers to common questions about worshiping at St. Paul’s.
Where should I sit?
Feel free to sit wherever you like, whether in the front or in the back. If you need any assistance our ushers would be happy to assist you.
What should I wear?
Come as you are – we aren’t worried about what you are wearing. At St. Paul’s, you’ll find people dressed in suits or casual attire. We’re thankful you are joining us in worship today.
What about my children?
We welcome your children to join us in worship. Children’s totes are available in the gathering space with all sorts of goodies for your child. Children’s bulletins are available from any usher. Our Parent’s Room (nursery) is available with changing table and Closed Circuit TV so you don’t miss any part of the service.
What about the offering?
Our members at St. Paul’s have joined together to do the Lord’s work here in Menomonie and worldwide. Our guests should not feel obligated to partcipiate in this offering that supports our ministry.
What about worship?
Our entire order of service is printed for you in a bulletin and clearly marked so you can follow along. Feel free to participate as you are comfortable. Don’t worry – we won’t ask you to stand up and introduce yourself to the congregation, or anything like that.
St. Paul’s Lutheran School operates full day classes from Kindergarten through grade 8. We also offer half day pre-school classes for 3 and 4 year old children. More information about our school, including scheduling a tour of our Preschool or School classrooms, can be found here.
St. Paul’s Lutheran School has been providing an education that is based on Christian philosophy for over 100 years. Our goal is to reach out to all the families of our congregation as well as other families interested and provide a Christ-centered education.
Our Christian teachers strive to meet the total need of our children: spiritual, academic, and physical. All subjects are taught in light of God’s Word and all discipline is carried out to promote spiritual growth, self-worth, and respect for others.
How blessed we are to have such an opportunity for our children. Would you join us?
